Thank you for helping my dream become reality! Hey Mike, Just wanted to thank you again for your help in getting my first home. 4 days later, it still seems surreal, but once I move in and start paying my mortgage, I’m sure the reality will kick in! As you witnessed, it was an extremely stressful process for me – I’d never made such a huge buying decision in such a short period of time. I’m one of those people that have a lot of the same outfits in 2 different colors, because I can’t make my mind up on which color to get. Change is uncomfortable for everyone, but more for some than others. This definitely pulled me out of my comfort zone, and typically, these life changing events as I look back, have turned out to be the best things I’ve done for myself. I’m confident this will be a memorable event for me in my life. Buying a place is definitely a financial decision (tax breaks, building equity, appreciation, etc.) but also an emotional one too. While it will be difficult if/when the market does go down as many speculate, it means a lot more to me. I didn’t realize this as I was looking, but the emotional piece of it is actually priceless. As you had articulated on the phone the other evening, I’ve worked hard to get to where I am, and the fact that I can buy a place in such fantastic location without too overly stretching myself, is a huge milestone in my life. And I’m appreciative that you helped me make this leap. People said you “know” when you see the right property. I didn’t “know.” I liked the location, I liked the inside, but I didn’t know if that was “knowing.” I thought I wanted the place, but wasn’t sure how much. But now, I can say that I’m really thrilled about the purchase, and it would have been a real bummer if I’d missed out on it, esp having been so close! I’ve already driven by it almost everyday to admire the property and have been playing around with maps.google.com which reconfirms its fabulous location. I think I “know” now. I hope this doesn’t sound cocky, but in my professional life, I find it a real pleasure to work with competent people that can make things happen. Not knowing the real estate industry, I can only speak from my own experience, but it was a true pleasure working with you and I'm so grateful to have had you on my side. I trusted your professionalism, integrity, and expertise – and only because of that, I was able to go through with the transaction, after all, it's almost like signing your life away. I was so stressed that afternoon/evening – and on the verge of pulling the plug. Thanks so much for your patience, and for helping me get through it. Your calmness totally inspired confidence. When I am ready to make my multi-million dollar home purchase, you’ll definitely be hearing from me. Until then, I look forward to our continued friendship! Thanks again,
